A recurring purchase order is a template you can use to quickly create purchase orders you need to add on a regular basis. This is best used for all contracts that you have in place such as advertising and landscaping.
To add a recurring purchase order:
- Select Purchasing > Recurring PO > Add Recurring PO. The Recurring Purchase Order screen appears.
- Complete all of the fields as you would if you were entering a onetime purchase order.
- Click Save.
To post a recurring purchase order:
- Select Purchasing > Recurring PO > Post Recurring PO. The Post Recurring POs screen appears.
- Complete the filter.
- Click Submit. The screen refreshes to display the recurring purchase order.
- Select the Select check box for the recurring purchase order that you want to preview.
- Click Preview.
- Select the Select check box for the recurring purchase order that you want to post.
- Click Post.
